HAZE AMAZE

Hasmon Abraham II aka Haze Amaze is a Christian, family man, percussionist, singer, songwriter, producer, mentor, social influencer, content creator, & entrepreneur. Born April 16, 1997 in Washington, DC, he comes from a family of musicians & singers. Drums only being a hobby, Haze spent his younger years aspiring to be in the NFL & being a policeman. It wasn’t until high school that he decided to take his natural music ability to another level. He studied 4 years of music theory in a performing arts program at Suitland High School in Maryland. There, he strived in reading music and after being placed in Advanced Placement Music Theory, he led the percussion section in both jazz & concert bands. After high school, he applied to, and was accepted into Bowie State University. But he quickly decided to withdraw and pursue a career as a full time musician instead. That decision would pay off sooner than he thought as he joined a local band and soon after, led to his first national gig. Haze has since then been afforded opportunities to become the drummer for and tour with Grammy winning artists such as Hip Hop Legend NAS and Soul/Gospel/R&B singer Fantasia. Other artists include Raheem DeVaughn, Tweet, Leela James, Kevin Ross, & more. Haze’s favorite moments so far include playing drums at the Caesars Superdome (New Orleans Saints football stadium) for the 2022 Essence Festival and sold out Madison Square Garden show with NAS. Amongst that he’s toured internationally, places including Europe, New Zealand, Australia, & more. Aside from live shows and traveling, Haze takes great pride in his work as a content creator as well. Through his brand “Haze Amaze” He has over 10 million views combined across his social platforms, over 100,000 Instagram followers, was featured in Voyage LA Magazine, headlined a Virtual Drum Conference for people in Armenia, and is a mentor. These successes, along with others, have helped to shape his career in a tremendous way. As a drum enthusiast, Haze consistently studies and works to perfect his craft. Amongst all other successes, in August 2021 Haze started his own business! Haze Amaze LLC provides solutions in live performance & studio drumming, teaching, consultations, drum teching, mentoring, & drum mixing. With an exciting journey ahead, Haze is creating his legacy of integrity and passion for doing what he loves each and every day, both on and off the stage.
